Clutch Cargo was created by Clark Haas, Richard Cotting, Hal Smith and Margaret Kerry. It's about the adventures of a pilot who takes on dangerous assignments. Johnny Quest was created by Joseph Barbera, Doug Wildey and William Hanna, premised around the adventures of the 10-year-old son of a government scientist. One of the defining aspects of Jonny Quest was its use of limited animation. Like the style used in the earlier animated series Clutch Cargo.
