Sudie and Simpson

94 Mins   |   Family

In World War II-era Georgia, Sudie and Simpson make an unusual pair. Sudie is a 12-year-old white girl, and Simpson is an adult black man. Nevertheless, over time, the two develop a friendship that stirs up racial tensions in their small, segregated town, even though it's completely innocent. The controversy comes to a head when Simpson is accused of molesting Sudie, and the racist townsfolk gather a lynch mob to go after him.
